BAGSTORE is the Vanderlande system for temporary baggage storage, using proven Automatic Storage & Retrieval System technology using racking and cranes. With built-in 100% redundancy, it allows each item to be retrieved individually according to priority, maximising flexibility and control. Due to its high efficiency on a small footprint BAGSTORE can be used for storing early bags as well as for new functions such as peak shaving and output flow control.
Together with BAGLOAD automated robot loading it forms the basis for the acclaimed and awarded Baggage-on-demand concept, implemented by Vanderlande at several hub airports.
