From the mid nineties of the previous century, Vanderlande is active in integrating 100% Hold baggage Screening solutions in baggage handling systems and have integrated over 1,000 machines from all major suppliers.
Ready for Standard 3
On the request of airport authorities and suppliers, most certified ECAC standard 3 machines have been tested on integration capabilities and maximum throughput rates at our facilities. Customer experience days were held around these tests.
Complying with the new Standard 3 regulations isn’t simply a matter of removing the existing screening systems and replacing them with new ones. Careful attention is needed for system integration to ensure cost-effective implementation and optimum capacity utilisation.
Vanderlande has the knowledge and capability to plan and implement, together with airport operators, a complex changeover from Standard 2 to Standard 3 in an operational environment.
