Pushers and Diverters

Vanderlande has a wide range of pushers and diverters that are used to sort baggage on a horizontal plane in one direction to one destination. Whatever the requirements or restrictions of your BHS, we will find the optimal solution.

VERTIBELT: widely used horizontal diverter for multi-purpose use

  • Capacity 1,200 bags per hour
  • Robust design
  • Lowest industry noise level
  • Low maintenance

The VERTIBELT is a widely used horizontal diverter that sorts single bags or trains of bags to one destination, for final sortation, routing purposes or redundant fall-back options. It uses a rigid conveyor vertically mounted in a frame, with horizontal diversion by a crank mechanism.

Parallel Pusher: widely used, failsafe sorting of bags in one direction

  • Capacity 1,800 bags per hour
  • Compact design
  • Lowest industry noise level
  • Easy maintenance and repair

The Parallel Pusher is a widely used horizontal divert pusher that sorts single bags to one destination only. When the pusher is activated, a pusher plate operates at 90° to the transport direction and pushes the bag into a destination or onto a connection conveyor.

High Capacity Diverter (HCD): high capacity sorting with minimal impact on baggage

  • Capacity 3,600 bags per hour
  • Compatible with existing and planned BHS
  • Better tracking through maintained baggage orientation after sorting
  • Easy maintenance

The robust divert blade of the HCD makes an optimal curve by sliding over the pivot point. High capacity baggage sorting is therefore possible with minimal impact on the baggage items. The HCD is installed on one side, next to the conveyor which enables easy replacement of old pusher systems. It is equipped with 45° reverse merge, parallel divert and perpendicular output and the divert blade is able to remain deployed to ensure transfer of baggage.
