Integra2 in Madrid needed the best sorting solution to meet its needs for high speed, reliability and efficiency. Vanderlande Industries’ EXPREXORTER proved to be the perfect answer to these demands.

As part of the Logista group, Integra2’s main business is industrial and commercial package transportation at both ambient and controlled temperatures (cold 5ºC, intermediate 15ºC and ambient 25ºC). Vanderlande Industries supplied a system for parcels based on a tilt-tray EXPREXORTER and a system for pallets using infloor-towline technology, both for its facility located in Getafe, near Madrid.

The EXPREXORTER has a capacity of 14,000 parcels per hour. This single-loop sorter allows different sorting strategies to be used simultaneously, coordinating up to 4 trays per parcel. All trays are closed deck, also in the corners.

The infloor-towline has a capacity of 200 pallets. The system matches the ID, weight and volume of each pallet to the lift truck RFID. The 7 RFID readers activate flashlights to identify the right pallets to be picked up, which is done by operators.

“For this project in Madrid, Integra2 needed the best sortation solution to provide the system with the speed, reliability and efficiency needed. I am very pleased to say that Vanderlande Industries has been the perfect partner for designing, installing and commissioning our parcel sorting system with EXPREXORTER technology.” Pablo Rebollo, General Manager Integra2
