Enhanced customer experience at world's busiest airport
As a part of Delta’s commitment to enhance the customer experience, a significant upgrade to the Baggage Handling System is underway at HJAIA (Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport).
Vanderlande Industries will install over 22,000 linear feet of baggage handling conveyor, by expanding the outbound baggage handling system into Concourse B, and completely replacing the arrivals claim units in the south arrivals lobby. The system will make use of 115 VIPER pushers and 16 CRESPLANAR make up carousels.
The arrivals claim unit replacement was completed in May 2008. Travelers will notice a more sleek, fresh look at the arrivals claim units, making use of Vanderlande Industries TRIPLANAR units.
