Successful presentation of PICK@EASE at Hannover Fair

Vanderlande Industries successfully presented the PICK@EASE.4 innovative ergonomic order picking workstation live at the HANNOVER MESSE from 20 – 24 april 2009. The visitors were impressed by the continuous operator performance up to 1.000 order lines / hour in combination with optimal ergonomics for the operator.

With PICK@EASE Vanderlande Industries has developed a family of ergonomic workstations that combines a high performance with ergonomics at the same time. PICK@EASE is a key component of our Compact Picking System (CPS), a high-performance goods-to-man order picking system. It has been designed in accordance with the latest ergonomics studies. The main features of PICK@EASE are:

Optimal ergonomics because of horizontal order picking (1 level)
Ideal height for the operator by movable platform
Performance up to 1.000 order lines per operator per hour
Operator learning curve of only 15 minutes
Constant productivity level through fatigue free working
High accuracy and safety by pick-to-light displays, detection light grids and a touch screen.
