Succesful introduction Automated Case Picking system
Vanderlande Industries presents the new, revolutionary Automated Case Picking system (ACP) on the Logistica 2009. The Automated Case Picking system is meant for automated order picking of a broad range of articles and decreases order picking cost per carton with 40% compared with manual order picking processes. The ACP system is especially interesting for food retailers with broad assortments that require high capacities of their order picking system.
A key element of the new concept is the MLS Spider of RSW IP. The MLS Spider is a machine that is capable of stacking cartons and totes with different dimensions and shapes with a high capacity on pallets as well as rollcages. The MLS Spider is the winner of the Logistica Award 2009.
The Automated Case Picking System was demonstrated every hour on the Vanderlande booth at the Logistica and could count on a lot of interest.
