Data acquisition
After unloading, all products must be identified and various types of data will be gathered by our VITAL software suite. This information will be used during the sortation process.
Gathered information:
- Identification using automated barcode readers, camera systems, OCR technology and video coding
- Automatic or manual (re-)labelling
- Weight and volume measurement for invoicing purposes
- Reporting and information logging of damaged products
- Incorporating required customs and X-ray screening data
