Loading and departure

The flows of parcels, pallets, cages and irregular goods come together at the outgoing docks. All flows are consolidated at the various types of departing vehicles.

  • Documents are consolidated directly in totes or bags
  • Larger line haul trucks with loose-loaded parcels are loaded using Vanderlande-Dinamic telescopic belt conveyors or telescopic roller conveyors. And when not extended access is provided for pallets, cages and irregular products.
  • Regional traffic and delivery vans are manually loaded using first-in-last-out sequence, supported by a printed load manifest
  • Cages or containers can be loaded manually (most common) but also automatically

Together with the consolidation process the process control system consolidates all tracing information and transfers all data to the host system. Special reports or load manifests can be generated. Our VITAL software suite combines the data from various dates and shifts to detect trends, give warnings and provide management information.
