Your benefits:
- Restore equipment to original condition (in case of a revision)
- Match current and future requirements
- Risk reduction by updating hardware and software according to the latest standard
- Optimise performance, reduce downtime risk
Optimum operation - now and in the future
As part of our life cycle support, Revision, Modification and Retrofit (RMR) services will ensure that your system operates optimally today and continues to do so in the future. By monitoring operational status we can anticipate potential problems and reduce the risk of unexpected downtime.
RMR services are based on a life cycle plan for your material handling system, which is based on your present and future needs. This proactive service approach ensures that your material handling system always meets your operational requirements, and helps to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Revision
Revision means system overhaul without changing functionality, to restore performance, availability and reliability and reduce noise. It includes mechanical components, controls and relevant computer processes.
Modification
A modification allows you to meet changed operational requirements. We can advise on the relevant system modification measures, which can include changes in the system layout, and changes in processes at both system and controls level.
Retrofit
A retrofit maintains system availability and ensures continued spare parts availability. Integration of new product generations (hard-/software) can also enable improvements in areas such as system availability, maintenance costs and energy-efficiency.
Dealing with component obsolescence
‘End of life’ or ‘end of support’ for OEM components (hardware and software) needs to be addressed to maintain the serviceability and availability of your system. We can deal with this through component replacement, or by migration to a new solution within your existing system. This can also provide improvements in performance, energy efficiency, noise levels etc.
