Vanderlande’s baggage handling systems move 3.2 billion pieces of baggage around the world per year, in other words 8.8 million per day. These systems are active in 600 different airports and on 14 of the world’s top 20 airports.  
In addition, more than 20 million parcels, which amounts to 300 packages per second, are sorted by Vanderlande’s systems every day for the world’s leading parcel companies. The largest sorting system in the world, namely UPS in Louisville, processes 400,000 packages per hour.
12 of Europe’s Top-20 e-commerce companies and many distribution firms have confidence in Vanderlande’s efficient and reliable solutions.The company is also a leading supplier of warehouse automation solutions.
The demand for Vanderlande’s excellent life-cycle services has grown significantly in recent years, and is now already 20% of the total turnover. Vanderlande has more than 100 site-based serviceteams operating around the world, which means the teams are actually continuously stationed at the customer.
