President & CEO, Supervisory Board Member elect
Andrew Manship has been part of Vanderlande Industries since 2016, bringing a strong customer-driven focus and a proven track record of leadership. In January 2024, he was appointed as President & CEO of Vanderlande. Throughout his career, as a director and executive leader, Andrew has held senior roles across the disciplines of commercial, operations, customer services and sales management, consistently delivering outstanding results in highly competitive global markets.
Before joining Vanderlande in the Netherlands, Andrew served as Senior Vice President at Swisslog, where he was responsible for the company’s European and Middle East business. Over the years, he has worked in the UK, Germany, the US, Switzerland and Australia, gaining extensive experience across diverse markets and cultures.
Andrew is recognised for achieving growth and strengthening market positions during periods of volatility. His leadership style puts the customer at the absolute forefront, emphasises simplicity and development of a High Performance Culture within teams whilst enhancing employee satisfaction through transparent and very personal communication. Outside of work, Andrew values family time and close friends, exploring new cultures and travelling (especially to Australia, Japan and Greece). He is a very amateur sailor, an avid F1, rugby union and cricket fan, having coached junior cricket and rugby teams in Sydney.
Chief Financial Officer
Astrid van Druten is an internationally experienced finance leader who joined Vanderlande in 2016, advancing through roles as Senior Business Controller, Executive Business Unit Controller and Deputy CFO. Astrid was appointed CFO in 2022 and also serves as a Supervisory Board Member at Frencken Europe BV. In addition, she contributes to the Advisory Board of the Registered Controller programme at TIAS Business School.
Astrid’s career began at the Mærsk Group, where she spent 13 years in progressively senior finance roles across Europe and Latin America. Through these positions, she gained broad business experience and a strong foundation for leadership in complex, fast-moving environments. Known for her business‑minded approach and ability to build trusted relationships across organisations, Astrid is committed to challenging the status quo.
A strong believer in the power of teams, Astrid is energised by developing people and building high-performance cultures that support long-term organisational success. Her leadership style reflects openness, inclusivity and a deep appreciation for the collective strength of diverse perspectives. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with her family, skiing, and exploring good food and wine.
Executive Vice President, Distribution
Geert Visser is a highly experienced, solution-oriented and customer-focused leader in the global material handling industry. He has 30 years of experience working for Vanderlande, delivering automation solutions across projects ranging from small installations to large-scale systems. In November 2025, he joined the Vanderlande Board as Executive Vice President for the Distribution domain.
Throughout his career, Geert has led multidisciplinary teams across sales, engineering, project management and supply chain, as well as site-based installation and integration. He has been responsible for the global sales and delivery of systems and integrating the key account structure within the Parcel segment – focusing on continuity, quality and long-term customer relationships. He has been closely involved in project deliveries worldwide, and worked in the company’s Atlanta office for several years.
Geert is guided by his operational experience, strong customer mindset and long-standing personal connections throughout the organisation. His leadership style is straightforward and consistent, guided by the principle of “we do what we say”, and he takes pride in building teams that deliver quality outcomes. Outside of work, he values time with his family, and enjoys playing padel and golf.
Executive Vice President, Airports
Michael Schneider is an experienced international leader in logistics automation and airport operations. He joined the Vanderlande Board in 2025 through the acquisition of Siemens Logistics, where he held senior global roles including CEO and Executive Vice President for the Airports business.
Before Siemens, Michael held leadership positions with THOST Project Management in the Middle East and managed large infrastructure programmes, including major airport developments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He began his career in project and contract management across urban infrastructure in Germany and Southern Africa – a foundation that has shaped his current focus on safety, reliability and operational excellence.
He is known for pragmatic, steady leadership and a strong customer focus – bringing teams together to solve complex challenges in mission‑critical airport environments. Outside the workplace, Michael likes spending time with his family and friends, loves the tranquility of nature, and enjoys sports.
Chief Technology & Strategy Officer
Timothy Mathews brings over 30 years of global business leadership experience to Vanderlande and joined the company in 2017. Widely recognised for connecting technology, strategy, and customer value, he applies a strong enterprise mindset to shape long-term direction and competitiveness, driving innovation that enables sustainable growth.
Throughout his career, Timothy has achieved business success across technology-led organisations and software-focused ventures, with proven expertise in strategic positioning, product management, enterprise transformation, and mergers and acquisitions. He is recognised for shaping technology and innovation agendas that support scalable solutions and digital ways of working. Timothy also leads initiatives in platforming, agile transformation, digital capability and continuous improvement, while consistently aligning innovation with customer needs and market opportunities.
Guided by a leadership style that balances vision with pragmatism, Timothy emphasises strategic clarity, disciplined execution and outcome-focused teamwork. Married with four children, he lives by the motto, “Work hard – play hard”, valuing time with his family, enjoying hockey, tennis and running, and embracing global travel and meaningful connections.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Véronique Stals is a people-focused leader who joined Vanderlande in December 2024 as Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings over 25 years of experience in building high-performing teams, and works with leaders to align people strategy with long-term sustainable growth, sharpen management skills and develop talent across the organisation.
Before joining Vanderlande, Véronique was CHRO at Arlanxeo, a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, and a member of its senior leadership team. She has held a variety of HR roles across sectors such as chemicals, financial services, manufacturing, biotech and pharmaceuticals, and always with the customer or patient at heart. Her international, cross-industry experience shapes her ability to drive people strategy in complex global organisations.
Véronique is a passionate leader who believes every individual has their own story and something to teach. Having lived and worked in eight countries, she brings a broad, inclusive perspective to global leadership and culture, and is fluent in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish and Greek. Outside of work, Véronique enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling to explore new cultures, cuisines and archaeology, as well as diving, walking, and cooking.
