January 15, 2018 Vanderlande joins pioneering robotics research project

Vanderlande has joined the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and other partners to develop industrial robots that will operate with increased independence and autonomy. The project – called FAST (new Frontiers in Autonomous Systems Technology) – aims to develop mobile robots with increased flexibility, which allows them to function more effectively in environments that undergo frequent change.

December 20, 2017 Taiwan Airport selects Vanderlande for prestigious baggage handling contract

The Taoyuan International Airport Corporation (TIAC) has awarded Vanderlande a contract to supply a state-of-the-art baggage handling system (BHS) at its new terminal. In response to the rapid growth in passenger volume, TIAC is constructing Terminal 3 (T3) at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TTIA). This will boost capacity and enhance the overall quality of service.

December 15, 2017 Successful showcase at inter airport 2017

Vanderlande enjoyed a successful appearance at this year’s inter airport Europe exhibition. The event, which was held from 10-13 October at the Munich Trade Fair in Germany, was an excellent opportunity to showcase its latest innovations. The theme for 2017 focused on the rising demand for digitalisation and automation systems.

December 13, 2017 Vanderlande’s Nordic service team ready to go
To better support Vanderlande’s service activities across northernmost Europe, a Nordic service team has been created. This new all-round team will provide support across all of Vanderlande’s business segments: airports, warehousing and parcel. The Nordic service team will help to sharpen the company’s focus with its Nordic customers, as well as ensure that it increases its local operational expertise. The team consists of experienced technicians and process engineers.
