NewsVanderlande cancels LogiMAT participation due to coronavirus concerns

We care for the safety, health and wellbeing of our people and customers. Therefore, Vanderlande has decided to cancel its appearance at LogiMAT this year, due to health concerns relating to the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“A safe and healthy working environment is our highest priority for our own staff and business partners,” says Vanderlande’s Executive Vice President Business Unit Warehousing and Parcel Terry Verkuijlen. “If something can’t be done safely, then we don’t do it at all.”

Having spent the past few months preparing for the show, Vanderlande is genuinely disappointed not to be able to host its customers at this time. However, at a major event such as LogiMAT, it could not be ruled out that visitors to the show or the stand crew could become infected with the coronavirus.

“We regret that we had to decide to cancel our participation, but we are confident there will be many other opportunities to engage with our customers and partners in the future,” confirms Terry.

Vanderlande intends to share its latest developments and insights in a different way. We are currently working on the details and will be able to issue further information about our plans soon.
