Veghel, 07 February 2018 – Vanderlande is proud to have received the highest rating of three stars in the category of ‘Manufacturing and Industry’ in the Best Employer Survey (The Netherlands). This result is based solely on the personal feedback of its employees, who gave the company an average score of 8.1 in terms of overall staff satisfaction. This is 0.7 points above the industry average.
Over the past few years, Vanderlande has performed exceptionally well in the Best Employer Survey (The Netherlands), which is facilitated by Effectory. Best Employers typically score better than other organisations on essential aspects and the winners also score highly in areas such as organisational pride, use of talented employees, providing opportunities to perform optimally, and showing appreciation to staff.
“This three-star rating is particularly special to us, because it tells us directly what our employees think about working for our company,” says Vanderlande’s CHRO Annewieke van der Zee. “We are also delighted that we have been given an average score of 8.1, which is even better than the 8.0 from last year.
“Vanderlande’s employees are of tremendous importance to our continued success and their opinions show us what we are doing well, and what can be improved. However, it is also about assessing what motivates them, and understanding their personal experiences and levels of satisfaction. Through this research, we can benchmark ourselves against comparable companies in The Netherlands, and use it as a platform to attract additional highly skilled colleagues from the labour market.”
