The report also emphasises the importance of working closely with suppliers and customers. This is essential because most of Vanderlande’s impact on people and the environment occurs outside its own operations.

As with previous editions, Sustainability Report FY2024 was written in line with the latest standards issued by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Vanderlande also began to align reporting with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will apply to many large organisations from FY2026.

“Across our industry, we are witnessing an acceleration towards sustainability,” says Vanderlande CEO Andrew Manship. “Like us, our customers demand solutions and services that do not harm the environment. They also want equipment and systems that are energy efficient, and which can be reused and recycled. By building strong partnerships throughout the value chain, we can help lay the foundations for continued profitable, sustainable growth in the years ahead.”
