This Privacy Notice for California Residents supplements the information contained in Vanderlande’s Privacy Statement and Privacy Policy for California Residents and applies solely to all California-based employees, job applicants or retired employees and others who reside in the State of California (“Employees” or “you”). We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

  • Purpose of use
    For decision of salary, tax withholding procedures, social security related procedures, baby-care/nursing care leaves, benefit packages and other employment management.

Health information

  • Examples
    Health condition, medical records, physical or mental disabilities, results of health checkup.
  • Collected from
    Employees, Terminated and Retired employees
  • Purpose of use
    For health care, ensuring appropriate labor environment, leave of absence, decision of posting, management of working hours and other employment management.

Work information

  • Examples
    Working time and attendance, record of entering/ leaving the offices, operation records of PC and mobile phone for business, access record of intranet.

    For management of working hours, business communication, ensuring appropriate labor environment, improvement of work efficiency and other employment management.

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
