Vanderlande’s baggage handling solutions help to support the efficient unloading of arriving and transfer baggage in a number of ways.

Arrival baggage is unloaded manually, or with a lifting aid, on to the arrival reclaim carousel or on belt conveyors that have been configured as unloading quays leading to carousels.

Transfer bags are unloaded manually, or with a lifting aid on belt conveyors that have been configured as unloading quays. The baggage transfer system ensures unique identification.

After a weight, volume and optional conveyability check, bags are transported via a fail-safe security screening process to their appropriate destinations.
