Vanderlande publishes FY2022 Sustainability Report

Vanderlande has published its FY2022 Sustainability Report, which outlines company’s performance, overall approach and specific activities in this increasingly important area of corporate life. The publication is written in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the most widely adopted sustainability reporting standard. This edition of the Report specifically covers actions taken between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2022.

Since first being published in 2014, Vanderlande’s Sustainability Report has evolved from outlining environmental initiatives to exploring the company’s triple bottom line – “people, planet and prosperity”. This edition focuses on activities taking place through Vanderlande’s new sustainability strategy, which covers four missions: zero carbon footprint; circular economy; good business; and fulfilling experience. Details on progress towards certain targets and defined KPIs are also included.

From developing more sustainable supply chains and designing energy efficient systems, to cutting emissions from operations and using less virgin raw materials, the Report provides details of the many actions now being taken to boost sustainability across all Vanderlande’s value chain.

“Sustainability is now at the heart of everything we do,” says Vanderlande’s CEO Remo Brunschwiler. “We are working internally and with our suppliers, customers and stakeholders to deliver effective measures. We want to be part of the solution, and will join forces with partners who share our principles.”
