Screening

The current climate for safety and security procedures places you under increasing pressure. The stringent rules and regulations you face on screening can also differ by country.

This process is generally performed by international authorities to check for dangerous goods such as explosives, and illegal goods – or if the correct taxes have been paid.

We have extensive knowledge and experience of the restrictions enforced by different organizations, such as the IATA, TSA and EU. Our expertise comes to the fore when we are seeking approval for the design of the entire screening process.

We have vast experience in integrating screening machines from all major suppliers. Solutions can vary from conventional manually operated machines to high-capacity, fully automated configurations and different standards of screening. A continuous flow requires appropriate item handling, gapping, tracking and corresponding interfacing.

Handling of cleared and uncleared volume

It is not enough to ensure the correct functionality of the screening machines. It is also important to guarantee the reliable handling of cleared and uncleared volume in the rest of the system. One of the solutions is to have a direct discharge of suspect items. In various situations, however, it is more beneficial to have a three-step clearing process.

Workstations can be integrated to handle the various functions, such as brokerage hold, COD, holding areas and canine inspection.
