BAGLOAD is designed to fit different operational concepts. 

  • Integrated into existing, conventional baggage workflows, the solution sorts and loads into multiple containers in parallel, working collaboratively alongside operators while reducing the physical demands of manual work.
  • For batch‑based concepts focused on early bags, BAGLOAD robotic work cells are designed for high productivity, with minimal operator involvement and efficient use of resources.

This flexibility allows airports to apply robotic loading where it fits best — today — and evolve their operations over time using the same core-technology. BAGLOAD supports both containerised and loose‑loaded luggage items and adapts to a wide range of system layouts within the flight make-up process, from brownfield upgrades to new greenfield baggage halls.

  • Smart 3D Bag assessment with BAGCHECK
  • An advanced gripper, designed specifically for reliable and accurate placement of luggage, even odd-shaped or soft items
  • Continuously improving stacking logic, using live vision feedback to optimise container fill rates

The technology has matured significantly, informed by earlier deployments and validated through operational trials and live airport operations.

Human‑centred automation for safer, more ergonomic operations

BAGLOAD hardware and software is designed around the operator. The robotic work cell and overall process are developed with usability and operational realities in focus. By removing repetitive heavy lifting and shifting operators to safer, supervisory tasks, BAGLOAD improves ergonomics while maintaining operational control. ​

Operating multiple BAGLOAD work cells is supported by our VIBES software, providing an integrated, mobile‑enabled user interface. It gives operators a consolidated overview across multiple BAGLOAD solutions, including alarms and events, while also offering insights and prioritisation of upcoming situations, for example where operator support may be required to finalise a container. This transparency and foresight help operators work more efficiently and contribute to strong returns on automation investment.​
