Divert shoes slide across the full-width carriers, pushing the parcels gently into the output spurs in a diagonal movement. The number of shoes diverted depends on the length of each product and the system is available for either single- or dual-sided sortation.
In addition, each sorter is provided with a remote control. Thanks to the special maintenance button, a shoe that needs to be replaced can be quickly located and positioned at a safe and convenient spot for repair. The patented plug-and-play carrier design allows a shoe to be changed in less than 60 seconds.
